​I have been a professional landscaper and container designer for the last 10 years, and a gardener for as long as I can remember.  As a Garden Specialist and Director of Customer Care at a premier landscape company, I supported a large maintenance production team in their container designs, plant selection and care of seasonal annuals.  I traveled extensively from Hinsdale to Lake Geneva and worked in the most beautiful gardens, rooftops and homes in the area.



My favorite flower is the old, garden style and unnamed, pale pink peony.  I cannot pass up buying a new euphorbia or weird succulent.  I am thrilled when I see hakenochloa macra ‘aureola’ gently cascading in the shade.  I believe that every garden needs some chartreuse.

I see design in nature and nature in design.  I could deadhead in the garden for days.  I love to use old farm or industrial implements as planters.  I love a challenge and look at the landscape as puzzle - everything will find its place!
